Clusterpoint customer Firmas.lv is first to join our 3rd Party Products section with their game-changing software platform for provisioning company information services at county-wide or global-scope.

The Firmas.lv software platform provides the complete database and software solution and also set-up services for collecting, managing and provisioning of business information services about company profiles, to be operated as an Internet subsription service in any particular country or geography.

Compared to majority of existing heavily to program and maintain SQL-based solutions, Firmas.lv discared all legacy complexity of SQL and have built entire infrastructure and eco-system of their applications on top of a Clusterpoint XML database, where a single company profile is a single document in the XML database of all company profiles.

The resulting system replaced old legacy software developed during two decades around SQL technologies, and incorporated the country-wide data corpus from more than 50 table and 500 fields system into a lean and easy to manage Firmas.lv database model, based on a Clusterpoint document-oriented database. Customer savings from discarding old legacy SQL platform and replacing with Firmas.lv system paid back in 6 months time. Since the new Web subscription system radically improved also end-user search experience, providing Goole-like search within complete data corpus in a fraction of a second, and also provided unmatched relevance, driven by Firmas.lv own invented database rankings for company profiles, Firmas.lv, starting their business from ground-zero, have acquired significant market share by number of users in two years time against another competitor, still using old legacy SQL based systems for the identical content services.

The system is generically scalable, based on fully denormalized XML database, and can operate any amounts of company data distributed across large number of servers, and do so at lightning fast speed.

The license for the FIRMAS Application Software Platform includes:

1) Clusterpoint Server CLUSTER License (two-server startup license for double-mirrored database infrastructure system);

2) FIRMAS Application Software Platform: a web service GUI subscription and search application server written in PHP for searching and displaying company profiles, 2 licenses for a mirrored setup on two web servers in different locations. This is the key software application, the system functionality is available for registrered users on www.firmas.lv (please submit your interest on EMAIL request for DEMO ACCOUNT);

3) A database structure and Document Policy with relevance rankings for Company profiles;

4) Customizable ranking formula for companies to bring out instantly the most relevant data;

5) Organization, user account, based on groups and roles, and user rights administration database;

6) End-user Login session management database;

7) Transaction protocol database for all subscription service information requests;

8) Company data updates monitoring sub-system for registered customers (newly registered, liquidated etc.);

9) CRM software for managing service provider's all customer acocounts;

10) Back-office system for Web oriented data entry and for interfaces with external resources;

11) Statistics system for data entry quality checks;

12) Initial Web site visual design template with free customization option.

The license includes also mandatory services:

1) Complete software installation on customer hardware (customer provides required hardware);

2) Clusterpoint XML database structure adoption to local regulations, if required (customer provided necessary change requests);

3) Denormalization assistance to move complete company information data corpus from any old, probably multi-table
SQL-based database to the Clusterpoint XML database, where each company profile contains full and undivided information about particular company, including legal registration attributes, legal address, factual address and contacts, naming changes, management, ownership, annual reports, commercial pledges, official publications, filials, insolvency, bancruptcy, liquidation, and all historical data for any of groups above, and many more data groups, all together about 40 (customer provides data corpus);

4) Assistance to change look-and-feel of Web site to the corporate style (including CSS tuning, customer provided own visual elements);

5) All of the above softweare maintenance and bug-fixing service for 1 (one) year.

Optionally customer can order:

1) A dedicated firewall and VPN subsystem between two datacenters, license for 2 servers;

2) BGP router system for running Autonomous system IP address space (for double Internet-link connectivity with automatic switchover);
