• 3rd Party Developers Program: we provide various options for 3rd party developers products to be published and endorsed by us for our customers and community of non-profit users, with a potential to earn extra revenue from tools and software frameworks to built around Clusterpoint DBMS platform.
• OEM Licensing Program: to IT vendors who want to bring to their customers greater value than a mix of  open-source products, and who do not want to spend years and years of R&D re-developing the functionality already present into Clusterpoint DBMS platform software, with its fast and well-engineered C/C++ source code.
• Non-profit and R&D Program: we grant free or symbolic licenses fore non-profits, scientific or academic organizations and people, upon kind request.
• Cloud Service Providers Program: using modern nicknames of cloud computing, or, simply speaking, a data center based application services provided on the Internet, we offer revenue sharing option for customers who are looking for very simple to use, natively designed for cloud scalability, inter-operable across all platforms, core database platform with powerful data storage, search and clustering functionality and with easy to use remotely accessible over Internet GUI.  It is also a snap to build applications for Clusterpoint DBMS, compared to SQL world.

Distributors / Resellers Program

For our partners - system integrators, web application development shops, software houses - we offer a Partnership program to become software distributors or resellers.  Our products can add to the bottom line of your business a scalable, long term revenue line from commercial NoSQL database software licensing and local technical support.  There are plenty of customers still using legacy SQL: excellent market opportunity to provide alternative or complementary database solutions.  

In particular, today a growing number of IT professionals in enterprise markets are becoming interested to explore NoSQL database platform software.  Being a core database management software, each customer can generate to our partners long term value and plenty of new business opportunities.

We are looking for channel partners for commercial selling and distribution of Clusterpoint DBMS software and Clusterpoint application software internationally, in different geographies and markets.   Depending on the sales volume and conditions we can offer a profitable product line based on Clusterpoint DBMS software and related applications licensing.

We also offer free training and support to sell Clusterpoint software through our partner organizations.

If you are a hardware company or a system integrator, supplying Clusterpoint software as state-of-the-art NoSQL data storage engine to your customers can give you extraordinary good‹ profit margins.  NoSQL technologies are becoming hot topic among professionals and IT departments recently. 3rd Party Developers Program

You are welcome to submit your application software, tools, code samples in different programming languages, integration libraries for different application frameworks: everything than‹t can be useful for other Clusterpoint application developers.  Just send us your source code, copyright data and licensing preferences, to email all that on Clusterpoint Support Email.  

We will promptly publish your downloadable software and all references under this section and also describe and recommend your software to our partners and customers in our Web site section Products / 3rd Party Applications. 

You will retain always all your copyrights and license conditions - we do not change them.  But we will endorse to use your software too, and also add you to our list of partners in Europe & Asia, Americas, or Africa.

For example, if you specialize in developing software using some tools or frameworks, but we have a customer who would like to use that application development framework, mutual and good cooperation is possible between our companies.  We already partner with a number of web design companies in different markets, who use Clusterpoint DBMS.  They develop scalable software applications to their end-customers in more productive way with Clusterpoint database technology, cutting development time and using agile programming methods.  We would be happy to develop similar partnership in all markets.

NEW - we have launched Free Community License for Clusterpoint DBMS.  Now you can use Clusterpoint DBMS software as freeware for your private and commercial projects on a single-server or a single virtual machine installation, under the terms of Clusterpoint DBMS Free Community License.  There is no licensing limitations for total  volume of data or with respect of RAM or CPUs in a server hardware in Clusterpoint DBMS Free Community license. This type of license could be used in broad spectrum of use cases where clustering is not necessary, but you can still take full advantage of Clusterpoint Information Ranking and the resulting fast and relevant Internet-style Search, freely combining full text, structural and semi-structural search in your database for lightning fast response times.

OEM Licensing Program

We offer Clusterpoint  technology licensing to OEM manufacturers and appliance products solution providers.

There is a number of OEM licensing options:

• you can resell a Clusterpoint Server license together with your branded hardware equipment as the appliance under your own brand name. This licensing option is available for hardware manufacturers and established brand names selling server equipment.   Add value to your customers and charge more for supplying turnkey appliances instead of low-margin equipment sales.  We can also offer two specialized applications for this business model: a Clusterpoint Search Appliance application and Clusterpoint Network Traffic Surveillance application.
• you can create a customized application solution on top of Clusterpoint Server data storage engine, distributing Clusterpoint Server as a part of the integrated software / hardware solution to your customers. Your end-user application can be a Web site search CMS/CRM solution, document or mail archiving system, customized enterprise security application or a solution improving your customers workflow functionality.  Clusterpoint Server open architecture allow you to quickly build and deploy virtually any applications.
• we welcome proposals for our original database technology source code licensing, including licensing of the complete Clusterpoint Server database platform software source code and Clusterpoint Manager software source code. Optionally source code for our Global Internet Search Platform software can be licensed for building Internet search services. For most products source code is written in C and C++ programming languages, and is being developed and fully owned by Clusterpoint.

Non-profit and R&D Projects

With Clusterpoint DBMS researchers can take advantage of building inherently scalable software applications systems capable of working with massive and fast growing volumes of data, without spending years and years on prototyping their software systems on legacy database architectures and then discovering that application software created does not scale and needs to be rewritten for another platform for commercialization, with previous efforts and time spent unproductively.

For non-profit, academic programs, scientific research programs, education programs in universities we provide steep pricing discounts and can also negotiate free-use licensing agreements case-by-case.  Most projects can start even with a Clusterpoint DBMS Free Community License that can be downloaded and used for a single server, then scale up later when system goes into production or into commercialization phase.  This approach does not require to change a single line in previously developed application software working with Clusterpoint XML- or JSON- only databases.  Also XML is favored data format by many R&D organizations anyway.

Clusterpoint is open to any suggestions for Internet community, academic, scientific and research and development program.  

We have positive experience participating into EU-funded research projects and all partnership inquiries are welcome.

Cloud Service Providers Program

You can also use Clusterpoint Server for selling high-margin remote database hosting services. This option can be interesting for Internet services providers using cloud-computing model, providing scalable cloud database services to their customers. We offer revenue sharing agreement for cloud computing service providers, using SAAS (software as a service) model or IAAS model (infrastructure as a service).

Using our Clusterpoint API technology, that neatly matches the functionality of Amazon cloud database services, you can start right away providing similar cloud database services from your datacenter, generating revenues form use of spare computing capacity similarly how Amazon does it.  

Please note that Amazon provides its SimpleDB and DynamoDB cloud database services, but they are really SIMPLE and not very suitable for standard enterprise data management, especially where structured database access is needed.  Using Clusterpoint scalable database technology and our web services based API, you can provide a better cloud database service alternative to the same customers, at better cost and with more powerful cloud database API functionality, in particular, empowering any customer database with fast enterprise search, including full text search, results snippets, stemming, faceted search, autocomplete, flexible relevancy ranking etc.

Any cloud computing (Internet hosting) company can cooperate with us to install Clusterpoint DBMS Site license software on their cloud IT infrastructure enabled servers and provide a linearly scalable database hosting services using Clusterpoint technology to their customers.

With every Clusterpoint Server Enterprise license also comes Web-based Clusterpoint Manager, where you as a cloud services provider can define a single or a cluster storage just for that particular customer, and charge for number of customer storages or documents hosted.  As there is no database structure related things like in legacy relational SQL systems, your database hosting service becomes very simple and straightforward, easily understandable by your customers and easily accountable.

You can also easily offer mirroring of multiple copies of customer database with Clusterpoint software on more of your hardware, maximizing revenues form your customers who need high volume search and data retrieval transactions, often from many users, simultaneously, that can be achieved only through the full mirroring of the production database onto multiple servers or clusters.   Alternative database providers struggle with complexity of providing this functionality, which you get out-of-the-box, when starting to use Clusterpoint software.

Manage your customer hosted databases using Clusterpoint Manager Web interface in virtualized environments, ideal for use in such cloud-services architectures as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) or Eucalyptus, provided by your own datacenter infrastructure.

You can also do database software virtualization for your customers without virtualization software, just by installing Clusterpoint Server software natively on a set of your hardware servers.  For every customer you can create a separate user account and restrict separate database storages served by entirely separate server instances to just that particular customer.  In this way you can make your hosted database solution securely shared among multiple customers on the same hardware base, even without using virtual machines and hyper visors.  This is different from Amazon ECC services, where you need to manage your own virtual machines. In Clusterpoint world you can as well manage only database storages for different customers, in elastic, centralized and flexible way.  Add to the marketing message of your hosting data center emerging NoSQL database support, and voila - your cloud-services appeal for your customers becomes even more attractive.

In this way your customers do not have to maintain their own database management infrastructure. It can be convenient for many small and medium size businesses where outsourcing of IT support can be more cost-effective than to keep dedicated IT personnel.  In particular, for serious IT projects requiring serious DBA skills, Clusterpoint Server database structure agnostic architecture can help to cut down DBA efforts substantially, and thus requires less expensive work for cloud-services providers, selling database hosting and management, and ultimately more competitive prices for customers.
